What Is the California Self-Determination Program?
The California Self-Determination Program (SDP) gives individuals with developmental disabilities — including autism — more freedom and control over their services and supports. Instead of relying solely on traditional regional center vendor options, participants in the SDP can choose their own providers, design their own service plans, and direct their own budgets.
Life coaching is an approved service under the SDP when included in your individual program plan. This means eligible California residents can use SDP funding to work with Jaclyn Hunt's team at ASD Life Coaches — even though we are based in New Jersey — because all sessions are delivered virtually.
