The Center for Autism, located on Roseville Avenue in Newark, provides DDD-approved day services including day habilitation, prevocational services, and supported employment for adults 21 and older. SPAN (Statewide Parent Advocacy Network), headquartered on Halsey Street in Newark, offers training and support for transition to adult life.
Autism New Jersey provides statewide referrals through its 800-4-AUTISM helpline, and the Rutgers Center for Adult Autism Services (RCAAS) offers community access programs, a college support program, and psychological services.
