Coach Robin — Autism Life Coach

Coach

#actuallyautistic

Coach Robin is a dedicated autism life coach and licensed professional counselor candidate (LPCC) in Colorado who specializes in helping neurodivergent adults understand themselves, work with their nervous systems, and pursue goals in ways that honor who they truly are. She holds a Master's in Mental Health Counseling and is trained in both trauma-informed care and EMDR, giving her a robust clinical foundation.

What makes Robin's perspective especially valuable is her own lived experience as a late-diagnosed AuDHD (Autistic + ADHD) adult. With over five decades of navigating life as a neurodivergent person—long before she had the language to describe it—she understands firsthand the challenges her clients face and provides deeply practical, affirming support.

Robin's coaching philosophy is neurodiversity-affirming, anti-ableist, and entirely client-centered. She recognizes that while autistic individuals can do many of the things expected in a neurotypical world, it often comes at a significant cost to their energy and well-being. Rather than focusing on masking or meeting external expectations, she helps clients identify what truly matters to them, clear barriers, and build a meaningful, sustainable life on their own terms.

Her signature strategy is "energy accounting"—a practice of reimagining demands to increase capacity and ensure clients are working with their neurodivergent brains rather than against them. This approach helps clients recover from and prevent burnout, navigate masking and unmasking, strengthen relationships, develop executive functioning strategies, improve communication and boundary-setting, and pursue education and career goals.

Robin also works with parents of neurodivergent children, helping them better understand and support their child's development while strengthening family dynamics. Her career has spanned multiple industries, giving her broad perspective when supporting clients navigating complex professional environments.

She believes there is no single path to success—each person deserves a life that works for them. Robin is committed to helping neurodivergent adults gain the insight, skills, and support they need to build fulfilling, sustainable futures.

Outside of sessions, Robin enjoys reading (especially sci-fi, fantasy, and mental health literature), fiber arts (knitting, crochet, embroidery), board gaming, puzzles, hot springs, and spending time with her husband and son.
