Autism resources in Tampa
Tampa’s Autism Friendly Tampa initiative, run in partnership with CARD-USF (the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities at the University of South Florida), provides training and resources to make city services more sensory-friendly and inclusive. The Autism Acceptance Center offers vocational rehabilitation, adult day training, and speech/occupational therapy for individuals 14 and older.
My Autism Connection provides social and experiential learning for adults 18 and older, including career tours, driving instruction, and life skills workshops. The Autism Society of Florida offers statewide advocacy and programming. Tampa’s APD regional office administers the iBudget waiver for eligible adults.
