Autism resources in Boston
The Lurie Center for Autism at Massachusetts General Hospital provides clinical treatment for adults. The Northeast Arc’s Adult Autism Support Center serves adults 18 and older and their families, and the Vinfen and Lifeworks Autism Support Centers cover the Metro region.
AANE (the Asperger/Autism Network) in Watertown offers support groups organized by demographics, and Autism Housing Pathways helps families create self-directed housing. The Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC) provides vocational rehabilitation. Adults can qualify for DDS services even without intellectual disability thanks to the 2014 Autism Omnibus Bill.
